Witch for day 16

Day 16
today I have my fave witch image to share with you...got her from 3rd coast stampers.

I made this card with my brayer roller and ink, then stamped my image and added a bit of color, stamped my tree from Tattered Angels, and got my quote from Sassy Studios...put it all together with a ribbon to top it of and there I have it...I love the simplicity of this card! and I just love that image...can't go wrong with a naked witch :)

be sure you hop along and leave some love...there are some awesome projects here ---->

Lady Godiva

today I want to share with you a stamp that 3rd Coast Stampers just released...and I'm the one that gave them the idea to make it!!! how cool is that?!? You're welcome :)

isn't she hawt? I love the story of Lady Godiva and I'm so happy with how this stamp turned out..the horse just looks amazing!

I colored her with my colored pencils and added chalk to the background, distressed some paper, and then I made a flower out of paper towel roll....its the junk funk challenge this month at Smeared and Smudged...every moth they give you a new "thing" to recycle and make a project with...I found this flower on this blog...and it just fit perfect with my card...the senti is a famous quote by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich...

~UPDATE: 3rd Cost just featured my card on their blog! how cool is that!?!~

thanks for taking a look I hope you love her as much as I do!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
anythingchallenge: Vintage/Shabby Chic

coast to coast vixin

I saw this sketch on Simply Betty and had to play along! I know its not using a simply betty stamp but I wanted to play along just for fun! I'm going to try to get another one done using a SBS because the prize is super awesome!the stamp I used was from third coast stamps and the paper I made using a technique I saw over at splitcoaststampers called acrilic distress....pritty cool...I didn't ink it though like in the tute...I tried it with black and it just made it super dark!

Day 30 and Gram Parsons

almost done='( only two more days!
here are some coffins me and my hubby made...
with mine I used a fork for the side decor and melted some wax and stamped my creepy bat image into it then painted my image with black to make it stand out more..and with his he wanted me to paint the cross that was on the back of Gram Parson's nudie suit...Gram was a cosmic American musician! he was amazing I have some of his music on my play list, you should totally read his story its so interesting...for our honeymoon we stayed in the hotel room that is haunted by his spirit due to the fact that he died there at such a young age due to an overdose! look him up for real! also if you have ever heard of or seen the movie Grand Theft Parsons that was a true story about him...and that room....so cool! his music has influenced so many musicians from Dwight Yoakam to Ministry these were way fun to make and may be up year round!

I also made this card with my new third coast stamper's stamps! I'm lovin these so much already! I stamped my saying on some coffie dyed paper, and my witch on some material, stuck it all on some patterned paper and there I have it...super cute!
be sure to check out the rest of the wicked blogs and you might as well go to the Smeared ink forum...if you've been following this long=)
