Love me ATC

today has been a good day for me... I just love Saturdays...I got to spend all day with my lil one, I got 2 lovely packages in the mail, and I made some ATCs
here is the first oneI made it with the ATC Creation Fun challenge and the Simply Betty Stamps challenge in mind.
the theme for ATC creation fun is "what is love" so I typed up this senti and I thought it l ooked great with this image! and the Simply Betty challenge is "spritz, mask, paint" and that is what I did to my background I took paint and went over a ABC mask with silver, then put some maroon and purple all over it then I glimmer misted it, then I made my tag and painted up the edges, stamped and colored my Piper girl with pencils...added some ribbons and stuff to my tag, glued it all together and there I have it!

BFF Betty

I made this card the other day and I just love how it turned out!
this was the first time I have ever used white hair...well kinda bluish-white, and that is my first bow like that...and you will be seeing them more often I love them! I used my everyday Teen scene simply Betty stamp and I think this may be one of my faves! the "best friends" stamp came from CTMH...I was sure to use a Betty so I could enter it into the Simply Betty challenge.
I also followed the sketch from Critter Sketches this week.

Edit: I'm so sorry I forgot to mention where my coloring inspiration came from...on the Simply Betty DT there is so much inspiration...I have a huge folder on my desktop of coloring ideas, and this one came from Lelia...her blog is full of inspiration, be sure to take a look...again I'm sorry Lelia I wasn't meaning to just steal ideas and run, I fully intended on giving you credit!

Smeared and Smudged day 12

yesterday was great DH made me dinner, and we sat and watched movies all night...(sigh) he's the best! k enough mushy stuff...I also had a Dr apt yesterday...he said everything is good and the baby is where she is suppose to be, she measures what she is suppose to and everything...he checked and said I'm not dilated so he will see me in 1 week...and probably not before then...and I'm ok with that...I really enjoy her kicking me :)
k enough personal stuff lets get down to why you're here...my project for day 12

this is a "swing" card I made for DH
I used the swing template I saw at Split coast stampers, my zombie senti is from Smeared Ink, and the Zombie babe is from Simply Betty. I colored her with pencils, and accessorized with one of creepy glowbuggs metallic purple bwainzzz.
thanks for looking...enjoy the hop! ----->

edit
here is a picture of the card half open so you can get an idea of how it works (that grey box under my watermark is where I deleted what I wrote to DH...ha ha you can't see :P)

Simply Betty Wallet album

Please see next post for the Smeared and Smudged blog hop
I'm typing this really fast so I hope I don't leave anything out....
ugh I have been so busy with so many things going on at once I nearly forgot about my Simply Betty entry....I have been making this Wallet album and it has been almost done for a few days now....grrr...but luckily I finished it! and I'm so happy with how it turned out...its amazing how great something looks under stress:)

the challenge at SB was to make a mini scrapbook album...and after seeing Jess's wallet album I knew I had to try it! and it was so fun! another first for me...this day is just full of firsts first my ducky now this....and they both turned out great...oh I'm babling I bet you wanna see pics huh?

so wadda ya think? I embossed the background the teens are on with my cuttle bug then inked it up...inked up the edges of the whole thing, stamped my Imagine on there (I got that stamp at Walmart....stapology is the company...I think) my teens are colored with pencils and liquid glass applied to their eyes...well Rio's glasses :) all my images are from the Everyday Teen Scene collection.
and ya thats about it! the inside I left very blank...I'm planning on pouting pics of my nieces and nephews in it later on with some journaling....thats the plan at least :)
thanks for stopping by...I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Smeared Ink/Simply Betty blog hop

The Smeared Ink and Simply Betty DTs are joining forces to bring you a Zombilicious blog hop!

What brought this on? A mutual love for Zombies, of course! Well, that plus Simply Betty is sponsoring 2 of the Smeared and Smudged monthly Challenges. If you enter these challenges you have a chance to win Simply Betty Zombie digis! Not only that but you will get a free digi image from Smeared Ink just for participating! How awesome is that?!

In addition to sponsoring the Smeared and Smudged challenges this month, Betty was generous enough to allow the Smeared Ink DT to work with some of her zombies. Hop around and leave some love then be sure to swing by the Smeared and Smudged forum to join in the challenges!

(yes this all may sound very familiar to you but LB was on the ball and I wasn't....and she said it so beautifully!)

now onto my card

I got to work with the Zombie Lola, and isn't she the coolest?!? and her lil rat is oh so cute (I think his name is Louie) I colored this with my colored pencils, added some distressing ink, and toped it all off with a bottle cap with "hold me" stamped inside (senti from Smeared Ink's Grumpie stamps) I'm not sure if the hold me is Louie speaking or Lola....you decide :)

I had two reasons for adding that bottle cap..one love em and want them on everything...and two it is the junk funk challenge for this month...one of the challenges Betty is sponsoring this month...that and the Rock n Rolla challenge.

here is the hop order in case you started here...or get lost because zombies are eating your brain...
