Smudgy Antics challenge

today is the start of a new challenge at Smudgy Antics...
this week's challenge is Tall Dark and Gruesome
I immediately thought of this guy

I colored his eyes red and put some black around them, then I colored the snake and added stickles and red to his eyes as well...the dark paper is some that I tried to make look like snake skin, I took some paper towel and inked it up and put some UTEE on it to make it shiny....I like how it turned out....be sure to stop by Smudgy Antics to see the other DT creations and enter the challenge for yourself!

January S&S Hop: Mesh It!

hi! welcome to another Smeared and Smudged blog hop!
I missed last months so I was so excited to join this month! I had a blast creating my project!
the theme this month is "Mesh it" and here is my project

I guess its a wall hanging...the base is cardboard (a really cool painted piece I got from my Secret Santa..thanks) the cardboard has white, gold and yellow on it, then I colored my Accordion player from the Carnies set (this is my first time using her...this is one of my new SI sets) ...I colored her with markers and then I added some black mesh I got from my mother in law...it was Halloween decorations...curtains I think... then I dropped handfuls of buttons in the corners and put Elmer's (PVA) glue on them to hold them in place, added some home made spirals and my senti from Ginger's house and there I have a super rad project!

here is the rest of the girls be sure to leave lots of love!
