New Challenge, use an animal

New Challenge at Shannon's Sentiments!!!!

For this weeks challenge I chose to have you use an animal in your project! the DT has really come up with some amazing creations!

for my card I used some flowers from the garden set, the bunny is from the shower set, and the senti is from the Easter set!

Shannon's Sentiments Spring colors challenge

Happy First Saturday of Spring to you! To celebrate, Shannon's Sentiments challenges you to use Spring Colors in your next creation. Here are our Spring Colors:

I couldn't help but use the free digi that I received from the news letter...I messed with the senti a bit to make it fit....and then just used markers to color my "special" egg.

Welcome to another Sentiments Challenge! This week Christy is challenging us to incorporate an unusual fold on our card. Step out the your comfort zone and try something new - make a project using a fold that is new to you.

so I went on Splitcoast stampers and found this joy fold card...it was so fun and super easy.
I used my new favorite set Peace Love and Stamping


I used CTMH papers and inks...really this was so easy and so fun.

Glimmer misted spring

Welcome to another Sentiments Challenge! We're beginning our March challenges this week....and we have something very special for you!!!! We're participating in the Operation Write Home Blog Hop!!!!!! So start at the OWH blog so you don't miss any of the fun along the way. 365 Journey

Today is another great day at Shannon's Sentiments...its Challenge day! YAY!! today Becky's Challenge is to create a card/project using Sentiments, here is what she had to say

"After seeing all the beautiful sentiments included in all the new release sets I thought it would be fun to make cards using sentiments only. Any and all embellishments are allowed but no images. So get out those brads, ribbons, buttons, primas and go to town."

for my card today I used the 365 journey quote from Shannon's Sentiments, as well as the banner, I created this card for my Brother In-Law, so I tried to keep it masculine...hope he likes it! I have it printed off for him but my darn camera wont work so you get the digi image today...sorry

I have made my very first all Digital card! wa hoo!!! I'm so excited, I have been playing with it all weekend....and I'm loving it....Susan was my true inspiration she actually gave me allot of tips...

This week there is a challenge on Shannon's Sentiments we are sponsoring the etsy inspired challenge, and the shop for this week is Daisy Petal Designs. The challenge for this week is to surf thru the shop, find a product for your inspiration, and create a card or other project based on your inspiration. You can use the colors, objects, textures, anything that inspires you.

I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and all my papers came from Computer Scrapbook, I used the free DL Gimp to create!

Shannon's Sentiments My Challenge

YAY the weekend is finally here!

and do I have a fun way to kick of your weekend...I am the host of this week's challenge at Shannon's Sentiments!!! YAY me!
It's super simple and I hope you'll all play along. After all....there's a $10 gift certificate up for grabs for a random winner....and who don't love free stuff?

Ok so the Challenge is to use ribbon on your project...any project....any ribbon....
So here is what I have created...


its a cute little planner just for me! and it can fit into my purse....I used the planner set and didn't put in the lines I wanted to keep it very spacey (just in case I get the urge to draw or something) I put my fave Shannon's sentiments image on the front and stamped my background with a SI stamp and very colorful to match the swirls on the inside... I then put my skull ribbon on the outside punched some holes and tied it with some black ribbons....then I sprayed it with modge podge just to kinda finish it all off.... it was actually super easy and really cute!

Shannon's Sentiments Mostly Blue Challenge

Today I have a tag to share with you
it is for the challenge this week over at Shannon's Sentiments which is to use mostly Blue
so I used different shades of blue glimmer mist over some embossed snowflakes. The Coffee mug, senti, and snowflake are all from the winter set. I mounted my image on a glimmer misted piece of a book page that I got from my good friend Lisa be sure to stop by and check out her store it's called Madness Paper and there is a link on my sidebar.
