Smudgy Antics Challenge
the challenge this week is Recycle Something
so I recycled a parmesan cheese jar, and made it into a toy for my lil one
I stamped out all my grumpies on shrinky dink paper with stazon ink, then shrunk them and threw them in this jar with different kinds of glitter, and some silver and blue beads from a necklace, and some purple stuff I got on a Christmas present (thanks BD) I then filled it with water and some glycerin, I then hot glued the lid (so it wont come open and make a big mess) and there I have a snow globe shaker toy thing.
not sure if I made it for the lil one or the hubs and me:)I would like to enter this into the following challenges
Hooked on crafts: try something new (first time making a snow globe)
Lexi's Creations: anything goes

Smudy Antic Gremlins
the challenge is to be inspired by a book, poem, or movie
so I decided to combine this with the Smeared and Smudged "Oh the Horror" movie challenge Gremlins, and made this waterfall card
its the rules for owning a Gremlin, I tried to color the grumpies like the two main Gremlins(Stripe, and Gizmo)
so there ya have it, now come join us at Smudgy Antics for your chance to win a new digi image not even in the store yet.

I stamped all my grumpies on some clear plastic that I colored with alcohol inks, and then glued
them to my cube...the top is a spider web from the Lonely boy and puff set (glittered up with stickles) and the bottom is Happy Halloween also from lonely boy and puff..and glittered up.thanks for taking a look...now be sure to stop by the other fab blogs...I have already gotten some great ideas I'm going to use later this month :)

31 days of halloween
so for my Pumpkin card I turned one of the grumpies into a pumpkin :)

isn't he cute?!? I stamped my Stumpie grumpie on orange paper and then cut him out...and then added a witches hat in green to make it look like the stem of the pumpkin....I then colored his eyes white with a marker, stamped my grumpie senties punched a few pumpkins, embossed my background and inked it up and added a bit of ribbon....and there I have my stumpie pumpkin card... he's kinda pissed because people keep wanting to take him home and stick him on their porch :)
so go check out the Smudgy Antics blog and make a pumpkin card for the challenge for your chance to win an awesome prize...also be sure to check out everyone elses creations for day 3 of Smeared Ink's 31 days of Halloween (links on sidebar)

Grumpie Scream!
I love this card! I embossed the "scream" from the "lonely boy and puff" Smeared Ink stamp set, and the patterned paper is a stamp from the "quoth the raven" set. The skulls are from Creepy Glowbugg...and ya...not much else was done to it...and I really like how it turned out...simple and scary! I really wanted him to stand out so I framed him in red so he could be entered into the Haunted Design House challenge this week "I was framed"

Smeared and Smudged June Hop
if you happened upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning be sure to hit Tori's blog first...you wont want to miss out on any of the awesomeness these ladies have to offer!
This month the theme was to use a natural element in your project...so I used sand and sea shells and made a shaker card (love these!)
I found the palm tree free online (forgot where) and typed out my senti....then I colored up my Stumpie Grumpie with colored pencils and made him look all pissed and sun-burnt...made a lil CTMH border and filled my bag with sand and shells...stuck it all together and there I have it...
lil side note...the sand and shells really did come from Hawaii....yes this card is about me...not the sun-burnt part but just not liking Hawaii...oh well to each his own....
now off you go to see BD's fabby creation...and here is the rest of the list in case you get lost...have fun on your lil nature hop ;)

Grumpie gift card holder
this one I'm very happy with how it turned out...I saw the tutorial on Youtube a while back and just had to try it...then when the new challenge on the Smeared and Smudged forum "Junk Funk" came out and we had to use an envelope some how...I knew what had to be done...

isn't it so cute?! I used my lil grumpies on the front and my Occasions grumpie on the inside...I think all the words came from the Occasions grumpies set.....so ya this is made out of an envelope....cool huh? I have a tutorial for it....well kinda I have the pics taken but now I just need to write up the steps...so keep an eye out for that....and if you hurry....like within the next few hours....you'll be able to enter this super fun challenge for yourself.

Smeared Ink bibs
this is over at the Smeared and Smudged forum if your lost....
here is a direct copy of what Helen said "April heralds Spring. The start of the cycle where life blossoms. We all know of at least one lady in our lives that is pregnant. A new life started. My challenge to you all is to think "New Life" and to make a "something" for either that Mum in Waiting or the New Life she is nurturing"
How sweet is that...and how perfect for me :)
so off to W-mart I went and bought a 6pack of bibs and here are 2 of them (the others are drying or waiting further inspiration)
for my Red bib I used The Fool from the Morbidly Adorable Tarot Set...I stamped it with black Stayzon Ink and added stickles to the eyes and the border....
the Yellow one are the oh so cute lil grumpies with the saying "I do what I want" (I fear my child will be like me and my DH....stubborn!)

and that's all I have for you for now...I will totally share the others as they are completed...so keep an eye out...in the mean time go check out the other inspiration in the forum and hurry and enter a challenge or two...there is still time:)
