Chicks Dig Guns S&S challenge

I made my first step card!

I used the chicks dig guns set from Smeared Ink and made my own background paper using alcohol inks...my inspiration came from the oh the horror challenge this month which is double movies Planet Terror, and Death Proof...and they both feature some bad-ass chicks with guns! I haven't seen the movies but I have seen the previews and I think my hubby has seen them...anyways this is what I made and I LOVE it!

Shannon's Color challenge

Here is my card using hearts and love from "Loving You!" and banners from "Shout Out"

I stamped my banners and colored the hearts with markers, the sketch is from Skipping Stones Design

Sour Girl inspired card

here is a card I made for the Rock N Rolla Challenge at Smeared and Smudged.

the background is a embossing folder that I ran thew than sanded then sprayed with glimmer mist. the senti is typed. and the lil guy is from Smeared ink's Candy is Dandy set

Sweet Pea Birthday Celebration

Over at Sweet Pea Stamps there is all sorts of fun stuff going on
to celebrate her birthday! there is a stamp that you can buy for $1 with another purchase...ya that got me..I placed an order yesterday! I'm so excited for my stamps to come!!! It such a hard decision for a gal on a budget!
also in all the birthday celebrating there is blog candy being given out....this I just had to get in on...
today they wanted a link to a card you have created using a sweet pea stamp....so I went back and found a card that I made but never posted on this blog (I had it on my old blog) so I'm going to show you now because its one of my faves! I don't know if its because it has my fave colors or what but I just love this card!

I originally made it for a Smeared and Smudged oh the horror challenge...I think the movie was 30 days of night-the poster was red and black

Birthday Girl

ok I know allot of you have seen this post about the super sweet Rio, well if not go check it out its very touching!

so I made her a card and I'm getting it in the mail tomorrow...I really loved coloring her and can't wait to do it again! I have seen so many wonderfull ideas on how to color her I must try them out. here is what I have made.


also over at Simply Betty Challenges its a sketch challenge so I just had to play along! I colored my birthday girl in colored pencils and then liquid glassed her spider web, added some bling, I stamped and embossed the background of my green paper using my Smeared Ink candy is dandy stamp. I'm so happy with how it turned out, and I hope Rio has a very happy birthday!

DD Smeared and Smudged DT blog hop

can I just tell you how much I love this image! I think my favorite part is how great the shading is...ha ha its done for me...so cool!!!
For the card I distressed the hell out of the edges then pasted them to my paper and added some jems... then I made a little trinket box I colored my image and put some UTEE on it then put it in the freezer and then cracked it the pic just doesn't do it justice I really love the way it turned out....I did plan on making a necklace with this same image to go inside but I didn't get the glass ordered in time...as soon as it gets here I'll make it and show you...no worries!

Edgar's Kiss costume

today is my day to share something from Smeared Ink with you and here it isthey are Edgar Allen Poe KISS atc's...cool huh?

I stamped Poe 4 times and then put kiss makeup on him, then I made a mask of him and stamped and glimmer misted the background, all the stamps for this are from the Smeard Ink set Quoth the Raven, the reason I did this is I got a little inspiration from the Photo inspiration challenge, I know it's only a pic of her dressed as Gene Simmons but I just had to make one of Peter too (he is my fave)...so why stop there Ace and Paul just completed my set.

I'm Peter (of course) my hubby is Gene (you can see why) and my brother is Paul, my nephew is Ace...sorry the pic is so bad...its actually a pic of a pic but hey you get the idea!

Hell hath no fury

here is a card I made for the HDH Hell hath no fury


I used an embossing folder and my image is from Smeared Ink's new digis Femdom! this is such a fun image...there were so many things I could have these ladies saying! I can't wait to create my next card! I tried to keep this one really simple because I think the image just speaks for itself its so great:) the word blocks say "I thought we were friends?" " then why did you talk trash about me?"

Stamp Insanity Colors of YOU

It’s time for another StampInsanity Challenge! This week’s challenge is called Shades of You. The Groovy Gurlz are challenging you to use only shades of YOU! Ok, and white, if you must! :) Winters blues? Red Hot in love? LivingStrong in yellow? I couldn't pick a color, so I chose black :)


I colored lilith with colored pencils then I liquid glassed her dress...I really love the way it turned out....the background paper is made from acrylic paints, I let it dry then crumpled it up and sanded it...I love it! (oh and I'm sorry about the pic...I saw there was a finger print on the lens...I'll try to get a better one tonight)

Killer bo peep box

Welcome to the Smeared and Smudged January Member Blog hop!

Since its a new year the theme was "Something New" try something new, use a new stamp...etc

so I did both, I found this pattern and made a box

here is what it looks like closed
and you open it up it unfolds and here is the inside


pretty cool huh? I don't have anything in the lil boxes just yet...well nothing but paint because I'm messy...but I was thinking of putting like paper clips and thumb tacks in it and putting it on my desk....

the paper I painted and stamped using my (at the time) new candy is dandy background stamp, and then I used my new killer bo peep stamps. I'm in the process of writing up a tutorial so be sure to check back later for that....

Smeared Ink New Digi hop

Welcome to a really really cool blog hop! It is Smeared Ink's new Valentines release!! and they are all digi! you should be coming here from the lovely Meredith if not you really should! in fact start at the beging some of these ladys had their posts before me and let me tell you..they are HAWT! perfect start for the week!

I must say (I think all the DT will agree) I had the hardest time picking an image to use for this hop...they are that good...k enough rambling onto my creation....


I created my card using the new Shift My Gears set I printed my car and senti then cut and distressed them. and for the inside I made a pop up...

lol I thought it was funny! I just cut some slits and made a lil pop up and used some double stick tape. I actually gave this to my hubby last night...I told him it was the first of many valentines cards he'd be getting this year...and as a side note he said "beep beep" how cute is he?!? ugh more rambling!

I have totally had this song in my head all week...so I decided to make a card for it...kinda twisted but hey that's me!

Do ya love it or what??? I had so much fun coloring my Tellen's Place Wicked Gretchen, and then making those flowers...that was a blast! then I took some red paint and splattered it so it looked like blood...got a little carried away but...oh well

Candy is Dandy / YourStory Recipe book

Today is my day to share a Smeared Ink project with you and I'm so excited to show you...There is a challenge over at the Smeared and Smudged forum, the wonderfully talented Alex has challenged us to make a book....after reading that I knew I wanted to make this one....

my very favorite Dessert recipes all in one place (yes Just Desserts has double meaning) I had so much fun coloring these images up and they were perfect! this is almost all of the stamps from the Candy is Dandy stamp set...but they are the only stamps I used...I colored them with sharpies cut them out and put them all together laminated them and used my new YourStory photo machine and made a super cute book! I hope you can tell how much fun I had with this! I wanted to laminate everything so this book would last...not only am I a messy crafter I'm also a messy cook:) this book actually has 12 pages but the other two had no decorations on them...the recipe took up the whole page...The font I found on the Bombshell Stamp site.

Shannon's Sentiments My Challenge

YAY the weekend is finally here!

and do I have a fun way to kick of your weekend...I am the host of this week's challenge at Shannon's Sentiments!!! YAY me!
It's super simple and I hope you'll all play along. After all....there's a $10 gift certificate up for grabs for a random winner....and who don't love free stuff?

Ok so the Challenge is to use ribbon on your project...any project....any ribbon....
So here is what I have created...


its a cute little planner just for me! and it can fit into my purse....I used the planner set and didn't put in the lines I wanted to keep it very spacey (just in case I get the urge to draw or something) I put my fave Shannon's sentiments image on the front and stamped my background with a SI stamp and very colorful to match the swirls on the inside... I then put my skull ribbon on the outside punched some holes and tied it with some black ribbons....then I sprayed it with modge podge just to kinda finish it all off.... it was actually super easy and really cute!

B/W birthday

this one I have been working on for quite some time...I was inspired by the Off the Wall Craftiness challenge this week.


I used my Smeared Ink party grumpie and shaded him and then glimmer misted some sheet music I received from Maddness Paper (one of Smeared & Smudged's sponsors this month!) the sketch came from the smeared ink's Very Sketchy challenge .
