our theme was Anything goes/Your Favorite SI image...which to me is the same thing...if its Smeared Ink...its my favorite :)
But I guess if one had to be used...well I couldn't use just one...I used two :) I mad a cover for my new art journal! I'll explain why I made an art journal in a moment...first to show it to you!
kinda cool huh? so I guess my favorite image is from the
Carnies set (I think you can only get them in rubber now so join the
rubber club...cuz they are the best) I think its the Bat wings...me and my bats! I also love the
Quoth the raven set...and the ravens you will see allot in my work so I stuck him on there too :)
so with my book cover its just an old cereal box that I did some Gelli printing to and then stamped on and stamped on some tissue paper and cut it out and stuck it on top...added a bit of color to the images (and some glitter to her wings) and then the sentis from the Carnies set...on the back I just stamped the heart from the Quoth the raven set (I may do more with the back later but this made me happy for now) and the inside is filled with different pages, allot of them are already Gelli printed but some are blank, some could use more paint, but I just kinda wanted to have a bit of a background ready...it can get kinda intimidating looking at a blank white book page and create something...hopefully this will help :)
here is the rest of the blog roll...you should have come here from the amazing
Leigh's blog and your next stop is the awesome
Shoni...if you are just starting you really should start at the beginning because seriously this hop is going to rock!
