today is the start of a new challenge over at Musically Challenged!!! wahoo!!! and we have an awesome sponsor! here is my card

yay the sponsor is Kenny K...I got to play with Pitstop Penny and she was so much fun to color up! I colored her up with my pencils, then I painted up some papers in purples and blacks. Put it all on some green paper...used my flag stamp from bombshell stamps...printed out a quote from the song (that I thought had an awesome double meaning) ;) put it all together and there I have it....I may add some liquid glass to the flags...but I put it together late last night and was to tired to have a steady hand.

Monday again :S grrr I just want to sleep...snuggle up to my baby and husband...just lay around all day....but the show must go on and it can't without a job :P

the good thing about today is its the beginning of a new challenge over at Smudgy Antics...YAY!
the challenge this fortnight is ATCs...simple as that!

I made this with the Carnies stamp set...I'm really loving this set right now...I stamped my mermaid on some watercolor paper and painted her up with water and distress inks, then I painted a bit of a background and added some glitter to make it look like water...then I sat back and looked and I was like aww pretty...wait pretty...no no lets fix that...so in came the blood and the senti...now its a mermaid like they were intended...sirens to lure boats with their beauty then whamo dead :) yep thats how my mind works late nights :D

anywho so there you have it...an awesome ATC (and for me a new technique in distress ink painting) so try something new, try something old, get inspired and make something!

Roller Derby challenge

ok so two awesome stamp companies came together to join forces for a challenge...and to top it off they both gave a freebie...how freakin sweet is that? do these girls rock or what?!?

I of course am talking about The Stamping Chef and Simply Betty Stamps...they are having a little challenge...a roller derby type challenge :) so I made some creations (digital of course because that is my fave right now)

Smeared and Smudged Hop

Welcome to the Monthly Smeared and Smudged forum hop…each month we do this and anyone can join! This month’s theme was the easiest ever…Anything goes…well I just had to play along.

I have some news to share with you all…they say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is my picture….

YAY I’m pregnant! Again! We are so excited…I’m about 2 months is all so its just a lil thing right now, but man am I excited…this was taken when I was 5 weeks and 5 days as most of you know I’m not very organized in anything…including my body so we had to get an ultrasound to find out just how far along I was. So here it is baby #2’s first picture : )

This was all done digitally with a sketch I found in pintrest. And elements from a My Memories Suite freebie kit. And then I added a bunch of heart wing digi stamps from Smeared Ink… I used the baby hearts for some of the papers, and then the stripped heart for my big embellie…the senit is just something I saw somewhere that I thought was fitting.

Well there you have it…the black cat is out of the bag…

Oh and I’m due March 22 (no Halloween baby this time)

Chromatic Angel

guess what guys? I got asked to be the guest designer for Chromatic Craze!!! wahoo!!! incase you don't know about it its a new challenge blog with a color challenge each month and its super fun I'm so glad I got asked!

isn't she sexy? she is a goth fairy from Smeared Ink that I colored up in GIMP and then combined with My Memories Suite. the papers are from Summer Driggs and I just picked the colors right out of the diamonds for my girl's outfit (so I know they match) :)

almost burnt Carnie

ahhh Monday again....another week...sigh ughhhh I wish I was a millionaire and didn't have to work...I want to craft and play all day :(

The upside of today is it its a new challenge week for Smudgy Antics woop woop!
this week the challenge is simply BURNT OFFERINGS. There are many ways to interpret this and I chose two different ways...here is my "offering"

I took the tight rope carni from Smeared Ink's Carnies Set. I colored her up then I cut her out and put her on a rope I covered with colored tissue paper...I was trying to make it look like it was on fire...it looked better in my head...then I burnt the background papers and added my senti....oh and a cool button I got from Stampin Up...and thats about it....I had fun making it and I really do like how it turned out :)

Ghoulipop trick or treat

Here is my entry for the final day at Smudgefest : ( sad its over but I guess now I can start getting ready for 31 days of Halloween.

today's challenge was to use the freebie provided Ghoulipop

so I took him and duplicated and flipped it so I had two...double trouble! then I printed them and colored them, then I made some paper (I had actually made it for a previous challenge at Smudgefest but didn't get it done) I stamped my senti tied it up and there it is...kinda creepy cool huh? I love it!
