The challenge is a tic tac toe board and all you have to do is get 3 in a row (you know the game)
here is the board
and here is my creation
I used an image I found on deviantart by Paulee1 and all I did was I added glossy accents to her axe.
for the challenge I used dry embossing...I embossed my paper then took my brayer and rolled some purple and orange paint over the raised parts. I added eyelets to the corners of my main image, and staples wherever I could...the flower was made from the TH tattered florals die.
now go check out the challenge blog for yourself and see what the other awesome girls have created, then enter this challenge for yourself...here is the link
speaking of challenges...I also would like to enter my card into a few others, first off there is the Quoth The Raven challenge blog, the challenge is based on the short story The Pit and the Pendulum...see the pendulum behind the girl...creepy huh?
next is the Smeared and Smudged "very sketchy" challenge...trust me I started with the sketch but it kinda evolved into this.
~Edit~
I forgot to mention how my flower was madethere is one purple flower on the bottom that is just card stock but the black ones are coffee filters I got wet and painted with black acrylic paint.

Kapree I didn't notice the pendulum until you said it...wowwwwwwwwww, way cool and creepy! I love it :)
and I sooo love how you made your background paper. My Smudgy Antics steam punk entry...I inked up the embossing folder (top side only and then ran the card stock and the folder through the CB...it looks cool!
I have been trying to come up with an idea for the RAVEN's challenge...got one idea floating around...the movie is on it's way from Netflix!
LOVE your card! BTW, is the flower made of paper or organza fabric? it almost looks like organza. (I have that die also)
Hugs,
Susan
Great card! I like your style! Cool background and I like the black flower. I think I will check out Quoth the Raven-looks like an interesting type of challenge.
