Smeared Ink DT hop

Welcome to the February DT member blog hop...the theme this month is Redrum so of course my mind went to Stephen King's The Shining, and the creepy lil boy that wrote that on the door...so thinking of that lil boy (Danny) made me of course think of the parts I thought were the creepiest and that was the parts with the twins...

I decided to go digital for my project!
I used the Melina Goth Fairies...and just duplicated her into the creepy twins from The Shining...everything was colored in GIMP and then combined in My Memories Suite...the background paper is from Smeared Ink's Slasher paper set. Then I typed all my words and arranged them and I think it gives off a really creepy vibe...just like the show :)

Here is the rest of the blog roll...be sure to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything!

Yikes! Yes the words on side and behind sooo make this piece come together. Great use of the digi slasher paper background and again just awesome digi work lady!

I love it Kapree! So cool that we are inspired/effected by the same imagery from the book/movie! I love your "twins" and how you incorporated the typed words with the background!

This is so cool! I love that a few of us used the Goth Fairies. And the background paper is terrific. I'm definitely gonna have to check it out. Nice work!

Definitely creepy! Love how you've got the typing in the background and the deceptively cute twins. xD
