Broken Heart

Its Monday again... a new two week challenge at Smudgy Antics has begun!
this time the challenge is Broken Hearts

We have all been there...crying our eyes out because somebody we loved broke our hearts.  If you haven't had a broken heart, I'm sure you helped one of your best friends mend their broken heart or watched your children get their hearts broken. This fortnight we want you ladies and gents to create a project depicting a broken heart or being broken hearted.  

so for my creation I went digital

I used I think its girl #7 of the broke and bleeding digi set, and then I used some awesome new digi papers also from Smeared Ink...this set is called Madam Butterfly...there are some really pretty butterflys on it but I have them covered up, I just love the colors and patterns! anywho...I found the quote somewhere online (probably pintrest) colored my girl up in GIMP and combined everything in My memories suite.

Embellished mini

Its the start of another week and a new challenge over at Smudgy Antics!!! This week the challenge is Embellishments...how easy is that?

for the challenge I made a mini book out of toilet tube rolls I'll take pics of the other pages later today I have to do it in natural light...these were hard to get with the flash (or without)

 I painted some of the pages and covered the others with paper, I used allot of stamps from Rick StDennis's Morte stamp set and then I added a ton of embellishments. there are lil skulls, bats, ribbons and all sorts of fun stuff!
