today I have a digital card to share with you....


I used the images from Femdom from Smeared Ink and I used all distressed papers so I could enter it into the HDH Kuriously Korroded with Kenny K challenge...the image and the words are inspired by the Rihanna S&M the Rock N Rolla challenge with Smeared and Smudged this month...not sure why I did it monochromatic...I guess it just looked better that way :)....be sure to enter these challenges for yourself to win some cool prizes!

This month the theme was to use a natural element in your project...so I used sand and sea shells and made a shaker card (love these!)

I found the palm tree free online (forgot where) and typed out my senti....then I colored up my Stumpie Grumpie with colored pencils and made him look all pissed and sun-burnt...made a lil CTMH border and filled my bag with sand and shells...stuck it all together and there I have it...

lil side note...the sand and shells really did come from Hawaii....yes this card is about me...not the sun-burnt part but just not liking Hawaii...oh well to each his own....

Smeared and Smudged Skull Appriciation Hop

YAY its finally here! Skull Appreciation day hop with Smeared and Smudged!!!

I'm going to try to keep this short and sweet-ish

I made two peices using the same skull stamp (from the Quoth The Raven Smeared Ink stamp set) both are bits of a cd I cut up and painted with acrylic paints


first one I stamped my skull and used a bunch of UTEE and then added some lightly painted feathers..I think this is going to be a pin...maybe a necklace...maybe a magnet...donno yet

and second is a necklace that I used shrinkydinks added some beads and there I go...necklace!

Welcome to another fab StampInsanity challenge day! and today...super easy....ANYTHING GOES! I love these...I get so creative...sometimes...other times it stumps me...

here is my offering for today....


I used my left over sculpture paper I made that Terra showed us in the Smeared and Smudged forum (mixed media art class #1) ...I colored my image mostly black and white...just little bits of green...then added my flowers (painted one black and green) and topped them off with a skully from creepy glowbugg's etsy shop...(lil hint...creepy glow is a sponsor this month at smeared and smudged)

I really like the way this turned out! it was my first time using this image and I'm glad it turned out so cool...better than what I had in my head :)

I would like to enter this in the desert island crafts challenge, these are the 3 things I used
something recycled
pull out your scraps
hand made embellishment

Mail Art Thursday

for my Thursday offering I bring you my first ever Mail Art...
I did this and sent them in to be displayed in their mail art exhibit....I wasn't quite sure on how to make mail art...but everything I read pretty much said to just do whatever...as long as it is the right size and not bulky....so here is what I did....

for this one I took acrylic paint and painted the top...then added a bunch of water and let it run down...I took an as death stamp and stamped it.

and this one is my fave! I took my side skull from the anatomy digi set printed it of and cut my paper to size...then I took some Vaseline and applied it to my skull...I then painted over the whole thing with bronze acrylic paint...let it dry then wiped off the Vaseline...I did have to scratch at it (just with my fingernails) because I didn't put enough Vaseline on but I just love the effect...I then took my quoth the raven stamps and added a bit more to it...
