in case anyone has been wondering where I am...I have been super busy trying to get ready for the 31 days of Halloween for the Smeared and Smudged! I'm so excited and you should be too!!! YAY can't wait...be sure to stop by.

spa day

here is a card I made for my mom...she is having surgery on Friday so hopefully this will make her happy while recovering....no worries its nothing major she is just getting...twins;) so ya this is for her all girly and cute...there is a challenge at Sassy Studios (where I got this image) and it is paper piecing...so fun!

RAK tag

here is a mixed media tag I made for a challenge over at the Smeared and Smudged forum, I had a blast making it...you'll probably see allot more of them... it was a really cool step by step how to do it (I used tape, glue, cheese cloth, and some homemade alcohol ink) ya gotta check it out! its the September RAK challenge

Ghost House

I just love this card! its so bright! I used some recycled buttons and hung them from some really cool peace ribbon..the bats are simply betty digis. I'm entering this into the Stamp it crazy recycle challenge, as well as the first simply betty challenge ispired by this photo

here is a card I made with my new love is gone stamp from Sweet Pea, and there is a new sweet pea challenge blog, and the challenge was "show us your dream" and I usually dream of my hubby and being happy so this just kinda fits its all romantic and the quote...I just love it! I have only done one other easel card before so this was fun...I got the directions from the WIS blog.

over at Whimsical Ink there is a trinity challenge and it is Make a card using these things:
2 patterned papers, 2 flowers, 1 stamped image or more
I put my new Una stamp on some black and white patterned paper and stuck some other paper coming out the top then I made these ribbon roses for the bottom corner...I love how it turned out...and I love my new stamp...I got her for winning a past challenge...isn't she awesome!?!, so you gotta go over and check this company out I just love their stuff!! I am also entering her into the Oh Alice challenge this week, since she is a mermaid and the challenge is Use CROWNS and/or MYTHICAL Creatures on your card

Sassy Gum

ok some how I found this super sassy website...they have digis and my fave...challenges! Its called Sassy Studio Designs, and the challenge this week is to create anything but a card so I made this....uh I don't know what you would call it....I altered a gum wrapper for Halloween, and if I get around to it I will make a bunch of these to give away...but ya I took their digi and made her into a Frankenstein but a hot one....I just love it! I also entered this into the Stamp Something challenge which was to use a digi...easy enough....

ok I know I have talked about the Smeared and Smudged site like a million times but hey I love it....so here it is again
at the S&S there are really cool challenges probably one of my favorites is the Rock n rolla challenge....if you cant tell from allot of my cards...I love music all music...well as long as its good...anyways so this challenge is featuring one of my fave songs...and singers...if you know nick cave then you'll probably think I'm twisted...but then again if you know nick cave your twisted...so there!

Septembers Smeared and Smudged Member blog hop

it's time again for the Smeared and Smudged member bolg hop!! I am so excited about this one! Our theme this month is Orange. We were to make a project incorporating the color orange, or make an all orange project. I was also excited because over at the HDH this week the challenge is Monochrome Monstrosities...perfect huh!!!!!!!!

again I used my prom queen stamp from stamponique (told ya you'd see these allot) and she is perfectly creepy for S&S you've got to go check that place out if you haven't already, they have such great challenges every month to get inspiration from like the rock n rolla (watch a music video) oh the horror (watch a scary movie) and many more! so look around here and then hop along the trail to the other wonderful creations.

Simply Betty Halloween

over at the Simply Betty Stamps blog there is a fantastic hop and a challenge...and as you can tell I love myself a challenge...so the challenge was to create a Halloween themed item using a SBS that is NOT Halloween and make it Halloween....so I took Betty and stuck her on this Tri-Shutter card (my first) and gave her a Halloween mask...it moves and is so fun....her pooch even dressed up! I love it and may just keep it up all year round!
oh ya I almost forgot the inside panel says Trick or Treat...the skull stamps and background paper is CTMH thriller stamp of the month....are in the right panel of my blog.

mixed Betty

here is a card I created using Jean's Mixed Media University at Smeared and Smudged....whadda ya thing cool huh? to apply paint I used a fork, some pieces of a plastic canvas, a grocery sac...whatever I could find...then I had to paint my Betty image with a fine paint brush...it was so fun!
I'm entering this into the sic challenge.

tyiptych card

I have been waiting on my stamp for this new card...it was just perfect!
I tried a new card template (tyiptych) for the Whimsical Ink Sorority challenge and I also used one of their past techniques...the paper is made with salt!
The stamp was a prize I got from the S&S from Stamponique I just love it! you'll see it allot :)

altered altoids

I had to share this awesome project I just finished...I found 2 Altoids tins on the floor of my hubby's truck and decided to alter them... the first was an altoids smalls tin and I just wrapped it in some really cool paper I found! the second was the regular size and I first painted the lid black and then stamped my favorite crow stamp on some material in red paint and distressed the edges of the material added more red, roughed it up a bit and stuck it to the top of the tin....whadda ya think nifty huh? I may decorate the inside too...if I do I'll post some more pics

your dead

so here is my latest...I was playing around online last night and remembered that I have kinda forgotten about Stamp it Crazy...so I ventured over there and found a cool challenge... it was "your Dead" ya know I just had to play along with a title like that!....the challenge is to create your own tombstone, use black, gray, and red, and it must have a moon....so I found this awesome stamp in my mother in-law's collection and used it...I have been waiting for the opportunity....and wadda ya know it had a moon....I embossed the stamp and painted everything else...I used silver paint...no gray but close enough....and the sketch I got over at Midnight Madness

Do you want to know a secret?

I made this card last night...I know I'm twisted, but as soon as I saw this image at DTT I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.... I have had this image sitting in my stack for a while now and it was only until the challenge at HDH was "creepy cute" that I realized this had to be done! and I love it!!!!
I also made paper flowers for the first time! for the blood I just tinted some liquid glass, two techniques I have been thinking about for some time, this was the challenge at WIS this week....enjoy...or don't I don't care I love it and thats all that matters....:)
