My monster B-day

here is another card using a Fresh Brewed image, again I won it at the party...this one however has a story...there was a game and it was I spy and you were to find the images in the shop given by the clues...and this image stumped me! grrr so I had to pick it!this one is for another challenge at the group..and its a points challenge your suppose to add a bunch of things to the card in hopes that you added something that had a bunch of points attached....confusing I know but it was fun none the less.....
the senti I got from Shannon's Sentiments, and the cupcake is a freebie from FBD...oh and there is a challenge on their blog where you must use 2 patterned papers that I'm going to enter this into as well....

100% wrapped in love

here is a card I made using a FBD image I won at the grand opening party! this image is called Wrapped in love and I just love it!I added some liquid glass to the heart and their eyes, added some white to the webb and the background paper is cuttlebugged, and I'm not sure where the 100% stamp came from, there is also a challenge on the PCP group that is a color challenge....green, brown, and yellow....oh and the sketch came from SSD

Slave light

for my smeared in day today I have an altered item for you!

yes its another tin....sorry if your sick of them but I love them!
this one is using one of Smeared Ink's stamps from the Symbology of Angels setI stamped "slave" all over, I added glow in the dark in to his wings....pics didn't show up...and I added the blood to his wrist with a lil bit of puffy paint...I'm going to keep a candle in this one...

here is a card I made for the Stamp it Crazy challenge this week....

I also did it to start to get into the holiday spirit over at smeared and smudged we are having a 12 days of Christmas hop....sigh....I don't know if you were with me during October but for some reason I'm doing it again....honestly I'm a little excited I have some pritty cool stuff to work with....this card was kinda my guinea pig....the white on his hat and coat are puffy paint...that was fun to play with....and his beard is gray and white puffy paint, and the cute dragon is all sparkled up! the image I got from Dustin Pike and the stamps (snowflakes/senti) are from CTMH

coast to coast vixin

I saw this sketch on Simply Betty and had to play along! I know its not using a simply betty stamp but I wanted to play along just for fun! I'm going to try to get another one done using a SBS because the prize is super awesome!the stamp I used was from third coast stamps and the paper I made using a technique I saw over at splitcoaststampers called acrilic distress....pritty cool...I didn't ink it though like in the tute...I tried it with black and it just made it super dark!

here is a cutsie card I made for my neighbor, I wasn't sure what to do because she is so no like me....so this was out of my element! I got the image from Create with TLC and the sentiment is from Shannon's Sentiments. I did have fun coloring them...but it is just so....bla drab but then again so is....never-mind.... anyways I hope ya like it!

New challenge

Over at Shannon's Sentiments we are having our very first challenge! yay!!!

Each Saturday one of the DT members will post a challenge and you have until November 30th to post a link to your project to Mr Linky of each post. At the end of the month one $10 gift certificate to the Sentiments store will be given to one random winner picked from all participants each month. There will also be one free image ($3 value) given to the one player that participates the most each month. here is my card...I took the rose image and printed it with just the outlines so I could color it with Christmas reds and greens, then I printed my sentiment and chalked the words and added some festive ribbon and made my rose sparkle....

Spiderwebb earrings

today I have some earrings that I have made while playing with shrinky dinks! I know they are Halloween but like I said before Halloween never ends for me....
I made them using my Lonely boy and puff stamp set from Smeared ink
I stamped them with stayzon ink and then shrunk them...I did have Puff to go with them but I forgot to punch the hole before I baked it....twice...so I gave up....I like them still=)

for the flower I punched out scalloped circles in black and red then stacked them on top of each other scrunched them and made a super cute flower... oh and the flower he is holding I added some diamond glaze to...the rest of him is colored in markers...

I really don't want Halloween to end...so I'm going to drag it out as long as I can....possibly all year long...that's just how I am...

here is a card I made for the Digi's with Attitude! sketch challenge...using the Grumpy Gretchen nurse digi I won on the last blog hop=)


the sentiment was a free digi from Create with TLC (I just found this sight last night and went all threw it collecting some great stuff...my folder has over 100 things!!!)

I added some diamond glaze to the shot needle and she was colored with markers and colored pencils.

here is a card I have made using some new digis from the store! they are these super cute super detailed snowflakes!

for this card I made the background paper with melted crayons, I printed and cut out my snowflakes added sparkles to them, put them on my paper then I got a dryer sheet and threw some glitter at it and stuck it on top...to kinda give it that snowie feel....
I added some ribbon and my SS phrase and another super sparkly snowflake and there I have it... super fun! can't wait to do more...maybe this time I'll use blue snowflakes or something....

Halloween!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

I'm so happy today is the best day of the year!!!
here is my project that I have been working on...off and on for days...ok weeks

I got the spice rack from the thrift store ($3) and I coffee dyed the paper cheese cloth and some material, spray panted my bottles black, stamped my image then wrote what was in it...this was way fun and turned out creepier than I thought... my writing smeared when I modge podged the paper to the bottle, turned out all smeared and smudged (pun intended) then did the same thing for my bigger bottles that hold my liquid ingredients.

The bottles are: raven claws, dried spiders, eye of newt, deadly nightshade, fairy dust, black cat whiskers, bat wings, swamp water, snake venom, and blood of the undead.

I'm entering this into the haunted design house's challenge this week...

PS: Alex tell Edgar that the ravens were already dead so don't be afraid!

also I made this lil tin using the puff stamp from the lonely boy and puff stamp set, I stamped him onto one of my inky baby wipes...yay I recycled! I wanted to hold it so you could see how cute and tiny it is...

Day 30 and Gram Parsons

almost done='( only two more days!
here are some coffins me and my hubby made...
with mine I used a fork for the side decor and melted some wax and stamped my creepy bat image into it then painted my image with black to make it stand out more..and with his he wanted me to paint the cross that was on the back of Gram Parson's nudie suit...Gram was a cosmic American musician! he was amazing I have some of his music on my play list, you should totally read his story its so interesting...for our honeymoon we stayed in the hotel room that is haunted by his spirit due to the fact that he died there at such a young age due to an overdose! look him up for real! also if you have ever heard of or seen the movie Grand Theft Parsons that was a true story about him...and that room....so cool! his music has influenced so many musicians from Dwight Yoakam to Ministry these were way fun to make and may be up year round!

I also made this card with my new third coast stamper's stamps! I'm lovin these so much already! I stamped my saying on some coffie dyed paper, and my witch on some material, stuck it all on some patterned paper and there I have it...super cute!

Day 29

today I have a project I have been working on while watching a movie...can ya guess which one?

I have always loved Colombia! I grew up watching this movie (if you couldn't tell by my blog title I love it!!!) gone to the midnight viewings, cd, dvd, record (my mom's) and now for my anniversary my wonderful husband gave me the BluRay!!! he is the best ever!!! this was the 35yr anniversary for the movie!! Whaooo!!! it came in a really cool book set.
for colombia I made her shorts a lil vest top hat and bow and I used the bombshell angel and just gave her a hair cut and color...then made her a lil top hat to set on...wadda ya think cool huh?!?!

4 more days =( bitter sweet! I don't know what I'm going to do I'm so used to posting something every day I may just have to keep it up....
today I have a card I made for the Smeared and Smudged's photo Inspiration Challenge, here is the photo and here is my card...I used a tidly inks digi and took some leaves off some silk flowers and painted them green on top of green paper then glued them onto the bottom...I colored my RockNRolla with different shades of pink and stuck a bat on one of my ribbons... I really like this image its so fun...its like a summer image but she has a Halloween spiderweb dress!!! so cool!!!!

the stamp came from Skipping Stones Designs, as well as the sketch, the "Happy Halloween" came from Smeared Ink's Lonley boy and puff set, I stamped that in orange paint (again I didn't have the right color of ink)

I used this month's free digi with Attitude, Salsa Gretchen, and when I saw her I thought she looked like she was dressed up in a Halloween costume (yes my mind is always on Halloween) so I put my image down in a card! the background is from the smeared ink's lonely boy and puff set and I just colored her with markers and added allot of sparkle (this week's DWA challenge "bling it on") then I typed out the sentiment with some font my mother in-law had, and wrote "cuchi cuchi" coming out of her mouth...ya I had Charo in mind...wadda ya think?

Welcome back! I'm seriously bummed were so close to the end of the month...I have been having so much fun with all these blogs they are so inspirational! here is my card for the day

I made this card using another one of Shannon’s Sentiments digi images, I really like this spider he is going to be so fun to play with! And the sentiment came from there too and it was just perfect! This card I used an inkadinkado image to stamp over some already patterned paper (in all honesty I just didn’t like that paper and I was just messing around stamping on it and liked how it looked) if you come by the Smeared and Smudged you will see many challenges and one of them is called “oh the horror” which is a different horror movie each month that you can draw inspiration from, and this month is arachnophobia. Thus why I used so many spiders on this card!

day 22

I have another double card day
now I know yesterday I said don't forgt the candy well I changed my mind now forget it BUT you must give me PEPSI!!!I saw a fun challenge over at the stampitcrazy blog and I just had to create something....the image was given to me in a Smeared and Smudged monthly swap, and I took 2 Pepsi cans (regular, and Pepsi throwback) cut them up (oh so carefully because I am accident prone) and ran them both through my cuttlebug and liked the layout the throwback gave me so I used it and just cut a lil label from the other!

and my second card I used Hilda from Stamp Insanity (today's sponsor)I didn't have the right color of purple to match my patterend paper so I used paint...I painted up a swerly tree stamp and stamped it allover then put my image and papers on top then painted the edges added some bling gems, and some sparkle to her wings and voila!
