Think Pink, day 21

Today I have a few things for you...first off its Thursday YAY!!! almost the weekend! I'm not sure where I got the paper from, she is colored with markers, and I put liquid glass on her glasses and eyes.

not sure where I got this idea from but I just love it! I got the voodoo doll image from Stamp It Crazy and the candy came from the lonely boy and puff Smeared ink set then I just hand wrote my message and put some pins in him...wadda ya think?

Day 20

Today I have a top hat I made I got the idea from Anita Marie she made a super cute had a few days ago and I just had to try it out! the pattern came from Graphic 45 and the spiderwebs are stamped in red ink they are from Smeared ink's Lonely boy and puff set, the flowers came from the dollar store and I'm not sure where the tulle came from...hope you enjoy it (mostly because you will see allot more of them)

Day 19

Today I have a “Grumpie Gretchen” Halloween card for you

The image I won from My Inky Fingers and she is suppose to be a Christmas image “Santa’s helper” colored just right she almost looks like a witch….I love this image and can’t wait to play with it again

Today I have a card and some good news!
I have been asked to be on another DT YAY...the name of the company is Shannon's Sentiments and they have some really sweet digi images! I got to play with some today and you'll be seeing them allot from me (of course)

Day 17

here is my card for day 17! I used inspiration from this Living Dead girl music video

it is the Rock n Rolla challenge for this month over at the SI forum
I have had this idea in my head for days....I made her dress and the background paper from the scraps from a pattern I had for a purse I made...it...I'll show that later...
but I just put some of that white elmer's school glue on my image and bunched up the paper for her dress and then just glued it on the card...I whited out her eyes to make her look even more dead....I had so much fun with this Lilith image from Stamp Insanity I cant wait to use it again!

day 16

today I have a lil Halloween scrap book I made...I took some brown paper bags...like for school lunch...punched some holes and decorated it and there I have my book! I left the openings of the bags open so I had more space to put tags and more pictures I put ribbons and stamps and all sorts of stuff on it...I made this for our costumes last year (that's right I dressed up more than once)...and I can't wait to make one for this year I want this one to be scary and I can't wait!

day 15... Yay its the weekend!...well close enough!!!

Let me just start out by saying this is not my style at all... let alone my Halloween style.....I HATE pink! but I'm going to see my neice this weekend and I wanted to make her some stuff...her mom just isn't as into Halloween as I am so I have to keep it toned down... so here is my attempt at being cute and pink and stuff...I do love the image and it just screams 5 yr old lil girl! and I do like to go outside of my box just to make sure I can do it...ya know

welcome to day 14...today I have a lil Halloween puzzle for ya...I actually saw this idea on BlackDragon's blog, hers is much more complex and awesome!


I made it with my lil niece in mind.... I made it so she can take it with her...I wanted one of those circle rings but I couldn't find my stash....oh well
I used the 3 wise cuties stamp set from QKD and painted them then modge podged them, then poked some holes and voila! hope ya like it....have fun hoppin and don't forget the rules

Day 13

Triskaidekaphobia:-noun- an abnormal fear of the number thirteen

I love the 13th bummer its not on Friday! but none the less I love it...and I have heard of some very superstitious people with the number 13....when I was on tour of the Winchester Mystery House she was obsessed with the number 13 and it occurred throughout the house many times, and it wasn't until I heard the new Shooter Jennings song triskaidekaphobia that I even knew there was such a word....and now I love it! That song was the inspiration for my project, that and Terra....if you have been hoping along since the 8th you will recognize allot of similaritys....she is so amazing and I can't even begin to compare my work to hers I just attempt to imitate bits and pieces...the spiderweb spray painted, and the blag mesh bag....the image is coincidence...he just looks scared of something so it fit.
the 13 is just the metal numbers that go on your house, I also used the soot stamping technique for the first time...LOVE it!
this is hanging in my dark hallway as we speak....yay!

Welcome back, today I have an ATC....

I'm kinda new to this whole ATC thing so any pointers would help...the background paper is brayer rolled and the sun has some sparkle glue on it.

Today is my anniversary! YAY...we have been married for 2 years living together for 5!!! so I made my hubby a lil anniversary card...he hates spiders but I think he'll like this, she is hot how could he not? I stamped her outfit and the background with the spiderweb from my Lonely boy and puff set, she is a bombshell and so is the lil devil sign, the ribbon I put some puff paint on and then colored a spiderweb white and added some black jewels....pretty simple but super cute! enjoy the rest of the hop and be sure to also check out the bombshell forum that is where I got my sketch from.

Welcome to day 10....today's sponsor is Smeared Ink so in honor of that I made this lil candy decoration out of the Lonly boy and puff set....I got the idea from Sugar she had something like it a few days ago (thanks girl!)...I'm not sure where I got the container but I took it and stamped and colored my trick or treat image, then got some skewers and put some more images on there....and there I have it...simple but I think its cute...I may change it up a bit...get some cuter ribbons but this will work for me for now, it has been such a long day and I'm super tired...I have been working on crafts all day so come back and see them! for now be sure to hop around and see what the other wicked blogs have in store for ya, and have a great weekend....

October 9...Happy Birthday John Lennon!!!I was going to make a birthday card but I couldn't figure out how to do that without it being extremely morbid so I nixed that idea and just made this cardI really like how it turned out too...the image and sentiment is from StampInsanity, I had fun coloring her and kinda had the idea she was holding a book of spells or something in her hands....the skully paper is a melted plastic gift bag....

I have been having so much fun crafting and hopping! I am getting such cool ideas for Halloween and I am saving where I get every idea so I'm sure to give credit where it is due because these ladies are AMAZING!!!

here is some jewelry I made and a box to put them in (got this idea from several places one being the Tuesday Taggers "Pandora's box" challenge this week), I took an altoids box and put some skull material on it, I then wrapped a ribbon spool with that same material (thanks for the idea Anita Marie...be sure to check out her bracelets they are super cute!) I then made a coke bottle necklace where I stamped my skull and embossed it and then strung it on some more of that same material and there I have it a cute lil skully set!

Stamp Insanity is releasing some new images that I absolutely adore! I love them all!!!!
here is the card I made using Kassandra, the challenge this week is Trick it or Treat it....my favorite "treat" is paint!!! I took my green and put it everywhere on this card I had so much fun!!!

today I have this card I made using a Strange Skin digi...if you are following this hop I'm sure you have heard of them...they are a new company with super cool digis I am loving them all so much!!! this one I have is called "Fangtastic Vampire Sisters" I love that! it reminds me of Fangtasia from True Blood....................... mmmmm sexy man vampires mmmmm..............

ok now back to my card sorry about that...so I took this image colored them up and just had fun with it I got a quote from StampInsanity and put some liquid glass on their bite marks then painted them with red nail polish and there ya have it!

today I have a card for you I made with a QKD stamp named Una and I love her! she is so much fun to color and so evil looking I really love the skelly fish swimming around!!! the background paper is just brayer rolled then splashed with water to give it that look!

Day 4 of S&S 31 days of Halloween

welcome to day 4
today is being sponsored by Smeared Ink (visit Terra's blog for more info) so I made me a lil tag using my fave stamp Lonely boy and puff...I used two different colors of glimmer mist and a stencil for the base of my tag then stamped my image 3 times without re inking to make it look like he was moving...I think it looked really cool like this so I decided not to color it and just kinda let it speak for itself! I then topped it off with some cheesecloth I put in black ink to match the image and distressing ....I really like how it turned out and I hope you do too...sorry I don't have more to say I'm super tired from my long day at the ZOO. I flippin love that place but man does it wear you out!!!

Day 3 of S&S 31 days of Halloween

Welcome to day 3! Happy Sunday!

Today I decided to do something other than a card, I have been working on a bunch of decorations that I can’t wait to show…but I do still have to send out my Halloween cards so there will be plenty of them too….but with all these decoration ideas I’m getting from this hop…how can you not!?!?

So I made a few candles…I have been wanting to try out this technique ever since I got my heat gun… I got these candles and some tissue paper stamped my CTMH stamp on with black stayzon ink and then heated it…so cool I want to make a bunch more and maybe give them away or something!

don’t forget to stop by the S&S forum and check that place out…we all have so much fun and we are getting allot of new members so you won’t be new alone =) That’s all I have for today so have fun horrifyingly hopping along, or sinisteringly lurking, and I’ll see ya when I see ya…

here is a little more details on how I did this...really its so simple don't over think it...

1. stamp you image on white tissue paper (used for gift bags)
2. cut out your image as close as you can get
3. position image over candle
4. heat image onto candle...just wave the heat gun back and forth until the image melts into the candle.

and thats all there is too it...I hope this helps

ok, so yesterday I said that I may have some more good news...well here it is....
I'm also on the StAmP iNsAnItY DeSiGn TeAm (another shreek of excitement)
Can you see why I love this month!!so here is a card I made using Morgan's Spell (a little more cutsie but hey I love it)... the challenge this week is Metallic Mania and the challenge is to use some heave metal in your project, so I cut her out and put her on a big Metallic moon... and I love the way it turned out...I don't know if you can see it very well but the inside heel of her boots is orange! I would love some boots like that!!

31 Days of Halloween...and some great news

Welcome to the biggest, baddest, creepiest Halloween stamping event on the web!

(Or at least we'd like to think so!)

its finally OCTOBER!!!! and I am so excited for this month so much is going on!

First there is the 31 days of Halloween and it is so cool...if you don't know about it please go start at the beginning there are some guidelines on how to be a Horrifying Hopper, or a sinister lurker and how to win some fab prizes! so go here for that
and my second excitement is................I'm On ThE S&S dEsIgN tEaM!!!! Whoot whoot you have no idea how excited I am! (shreek of excitement)
ok, that's all the news I have.... for now;);)...so be sure to do what ya gotta do to have a great October and way to start it off right with S&S

and here is my card

I figured I'd start off with something creepy...so used the S&S lonely boy and puff stamp and he is so fun you will see him allot this month, I just love his eery face!

I put him on an easel card and shrinky dinked the spider to hang from the spiral moon, I also made him sparkly and shimmery with nail polish to kinda give him that ghost feel, then added some buttons and I'm done!
