Alter something...like a mouse trap

Welcome to the Smeared Ink DT monthly hop!
this month's theme is "Alter something"
For the longest time I have wanted to alter a mouse trap...so here it is :)
I used some images from the  Heavy Metal digi set I printed them out and added some gold bronze paint to them then distressed them, added an old add and some flowers some jewelry and a fleur de lis now I have a new...mouse trap...I guess I could use it to hold notes to DH shopping lists and stuff.

    So beautiful very victorian. Love the mouse trap idea never would have thought of that in a million. It is always the biggest conundrum as to what to do with some of our best work. Love the note holder idea.
